Mrs. Joyce Blalock Godbold, 84, of Navasota passed away Monday, August 16 at her residence. A graveside service is set for 10am Wednesday, August 18 at Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Joyce was born on February 23, 1926 in Grapeland to Archibald & Daisy (Vincent) Robertson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, W. Ben Blalock & C.J. "Tommy" Godbold; 4 sisters & 2 brothers.
Survivors include her son, Bob Blalock & wife Cindi of Navasota; and sister, Shirley Waller of April Sound; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Navasota.
