Jose Chavarria

Mr. Jose "Lupe" Chavarria, 58, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010 at his residence. Visitation will begin at 5pm Wednesday, May 5, at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral services are set for 2pm, Thursday, May 6, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Jose Alaniz, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Chavarria was born April 22, 1952, in San Miguel de Allende, GTO, to Faustino Ramirez & Consuelo (Mendoza) Chavarria. He married Lucy Ybarra on June 15, 1984 in Navasota.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Lupe is survived by his wife, Lucille Chavarria; daughters & sons-in-law, Lucy & Israel Guitron, Monica & Jesus Cabrera, and Maricela & Anthony Flores, all of Navasota; son, Miguel Ortega of Navasota; brothers, Jose Magarito Chavarria of Navasota, and Antonio Valenzuela of Comonfort, GTO; sisters & brothers-in-law, Maria Adela Chavarria & Antonio Diaz of Comonfort, GTO, Maria Esperanza Chavarria & Victor Cabrera of San Miguel Allende, GTO, Maria Elena Chavarria of Harper Heights, TX, and Maria DeLuz Chavarria & Daniel Ortega of Comonfort, GTO; grandchildren, Brittney & Brooklyn Guitron, Christina, Jesus Guadalupe and Maya Cabrera, Antonio Magallon, and Anthony & Kimora Flores.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Torres, Jr., Martin Medina, Mario Lopez, Antonio Sanchez, Lazaro Garcia and Abel Ochoa, all of Navasota; David Quezada of College Station; and Richard Seaton of Houston.
