Jordan Walter Fruehauf was born September 14, 1916 in St. Louis, Missouri, and passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011. In keeping with his wishes Jordan will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered along with those of his beloved wife Edna Lorraine Fruehauf who died October 31, 2002.
Jordan received a B.B.A. in accounting from St. Louis University. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He landed at Omaha Beach 30 days after D-Day. He received a purple heart, and was discharged in 1945. At that time, he moved to Texas. He married Eddy, and they lived in Houston, and Austin. After retiring, and traveling for several months, he started Brevis Lingua, Inc., having found that retirement was not for him. He became an Enrolled Agent in June, 1989.
It was Jordan's greatest desire that Brevis Lingua continue, after he left this earth. That wish will be fulfilled.
It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to a great teacher, mentor, and friend. We will never forget "our fearless leader." We will love you forever-Connie, Janet, and Kate.
