John Valadez

Mr. John G. Valadez, 71, of Navasota, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010 at The College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be held Monday, February 1, from 5-7pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel, with a rosary at 7pm, and a funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am, Tuesday, February 2, at Christ Our Light Catholic Church with Rev. Raul Marterior officiating. Rite of committal will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Mr. Valadez was born May 6, 1938 in Nuevo Laredo, Tomaulipas, to Jesus and Guadalupe (Gonzalez) Valadez.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Romana Valadez, and brother-in-law, Danny Aguilar, Sr.
John is survived by his daughters & sons-on-law, Patricia & Stacy Saxon of Ben Wheeler, and Angelina & Ricky Guitron of Navasota; sons & daughters-in-law, John Joe & Pamela Valadez, and Andrew Valadez, all of Navasota; sisters & brothers-in-law, Mary Sanchez, Martha & Adam Suarez, Bertha Aguilar, and Rosie & Luther Nobles, all of Navasota; brothers & sisters-in-law, Norberto Valadez, Hector & Mary Valadez, Rolando & Tracy Valadez, Jessie Valadez, and Pete Valadez, all of Navasota, and David & Alma Valadez of Lake Jackson; 9 grandchildren,6 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Adam Suarez, Jr., Ruben Valadez, Ruben Hinojosa, and David Bohack, all of Navasota, Robert Suarez, Anselmo Valadez, Eddie Colunga, and Daniel Aguilar, Jr., all of College Station.
