John Anthony “Chach” Flores, 42 of Washington passed away Sunday, September 10th at his home. Visitation with family and friends will be from 1:00 – 2:00pm, Friday, September 15th at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of his life will immediately follow at 2:00pm. Rev. Jose Maldenado will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Chach was born November 23, 1984 in Washington, Texas to Richard and Virginia (Martinez) Flores. He married Stephanie Stephenson on September 6, 2003 in Navasota. Chach worked as a plumbers helper until complications of diabetes required the amputation of both legs. Losing his sight shortly thereafter, Chach never let it get him down. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family at barbeques and get-togethers. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Texas Aggies football fan. He had three furbabies that were his constant companions, miniature Dachshunds named Minnie, Sam and Boo Boo.
Chach is survived by his wife, Stephanie Flores of Washington; sister and brother-in-law Amber and Billy Mata of Washington; brothers and sisters-in-law Mando, Henry and Valencia Flores of Millican, Chuck and Dina Bohack of Navasota, Paul and Kat Bohack of Navasota and Donny and Alice Stephenson of Navasota; nieces Mariah, Payton and Kayla Flores, Chastity and Kiley Stephenson and Emma Bohack; nephews Jakob Flores, Jeremy Stephenson, Trey and Noah Mata and Alec and Trent Bohack.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joe Flores.
