Mr. John Busa

Mr. John Busa, 57, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, August 18th at Pine Shadows Retreat in Porter, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00pm, Wednesday, August 20th at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Stoneham with a rosary following at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass celebrating his life will be at 10:30am, Thursday, August 21st, also at St. Joseph. Rev. Ed Kucera will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in the St. Joseph church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
John was born in Navasota on October 26, 1956 to Joe Tony Busa and Annie (Lebeck) Busa. He married Katherine Kelleen Wallace on March 27, 1982 in Spring and together they raised one son and two daughters. Mr. Busa was a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Kathy; father-in law John Wallace of Humble and mother-in-law Jo Wallace of Crockett; daughters and sons-in-law Kim and Stephen Harbeck, Jr. of Cleveland and Kristy and Billy Fruia of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law John Jr., and Jaclyn Busa of Kingwood; sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret and Lloyd Hill of Hempstead, Frances Loukanis of Plantersville and Jo Ann and Willie Keyser of Plantersville; brothers and sisters-in-law William Busa of Caldwell, James Busa of Plantersville, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Karl and Julie Wallace of Tomball and Wes and Karen Wesmoreland of Albuquerque, NM; and four grandchildren, Justin and Trenton Fruia and Brooke and Stephen Harbeck, III.
Serving as pallbearers are Will Keyser of Plantersville, Joe Busa of Houston, Shane Busa of Houston, Steve Busa of Katy, Karl Wallace of Tomball, Larry Loukanis of Magnolia and Willie Keyser of Plantersville. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Maxie, Butch and Adam.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a memorial contribution to the National Stroke Association.
