Joe Warchesick, 66, of Anderson, passed away Monday, January 26, 2009 at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center. Visitation was held Wednesday, January 28th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm with a parish rosary recited at 7:00 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services were 10:00 am Thursday, January 29th at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dan Schoessow of Zion Lutheran Church officiating. Interment followed in St. Stanislaus Church Cemetery.
Joe was born December 23, 1942 in Anderson to John & Annettie (Jeziorski) Warchesick. His trade was carpentry, and he loved building things. In addition to construction, Joe loved horses and cattle and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Victoria Yanchak and Gennieve Warchesick; and brothers, Stash and Harold Warchesick.
Joe is survived by his special friend, Hilda Molitor of Anderson; sisters, Frances Maddux of South Houston and Dorothy DeVoltz and her husband Johnny, Jr. of Conroe; brothers, Felix Warchesick of Bryan and Eddie Warchesick and his wife Rose of Bryan; niece, Shirley Machacek and her husband Jimmy of Magnolia; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers were Johnny DeVoltz III of Humble, Keith Grant of Magnolia, Ralph Wagner, Tytphil Pasket, Felix Kimich, Cecil Schroeder, Darryl Pasket, and John Raymond, all of Anderson.
