Mr. Jessie Sewell Johnson, 93, of Navasota passed away Saturday, October 20 at the College Station Medical Center. Visitation with the family will be at Nobles Funeral Chapel Monday, October 22 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 23 at 10:00 a.m. in the Bryan City Cemetery with the Rev. Timothy O'Banon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Johnson was born on October 25, 1918, in Sherwood, Texas, the son of James Randolph Johnson and Nola Bell Brim.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Gladys Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter Carolyn Robbins of Navasota; son, Don Johnson of Inks Lake; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Aggieland Humane Society, 5359 Leonard Rd., Bryan, TX 77807.
