Jerry Edge

Mr. Jerry Clinton Edge, 69, of Midway, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010 at the Madison St. Joseph Health Center in Madisonville. The family will receive visitors Monday, May 24, from 5-7pm, and funeral services are set for 10am Tuesday, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Jack Jeter officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Jerry was born in Santa Fe, NM on September 23, 1940, to Alvin & Velma (Blue) Edge. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katherine Edge; brother, Lyndall Glenn Edge; and sister, Sharron Puckett and great-grandson, Blake Owensby.

Survivors include his children, Jan Christen of Cypress, Belinda Lee of Pasadena, Tanya Johnson & Van Ladendorf of Cypress, Janet & Mike Nason of Portage, Maine, Laura Edge & Craig Hoffpaiur of Pasadena, and Wayne Cooper of Hockley; brother, Gerald Duane Wilson; sister, Johnnie Mae Douglas of Houston; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Doug Harris, Tony Ferry, Craig Hoffpauir, Greg Dick, Zack Christen and Phil Olshefsky.
