Ms. Janyce Singletary, 69, of Navasota, passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services are set for 2:00pm Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A private interment will follow in Madisonville City Cemetery.
Janyce was born August 4, 1940 in Robertson County to J.J. and Viola (Hulcy) Baker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Morris Holiday and Ernest Singletary; brother, James Baker, Jr.; nephew, Terry James Calhoun; and granddaughter, Caden Singletary.
She is survived by her daughter, Marsha (Prissy) Crenshaw of Navasota; son, Todd Singletary of Madisonville; sister, Dorothy Calhoun of Katy; and granddaughter, Tori Crenshaw.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Brazos Valley Hospice.
