Mrs. Janie Blanche (Kimich) Hale, 82 of Plantersville, passed away Thursday, July 22nd at her home. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 27th at the Verlon and Kim Ballew home at 9885 CR 341 in Plantersville. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Janie was born in Anderson, Texas on May 8, 1939 to Tony Kimich and Cecilia Pavlock Kimich. Janie was strong-willed, outspoken and opinionated and always loved a good laugh. She was loyal to those she loved and held her family close. She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, Bible study and both vegetable and flower gardening. Her grandchildren were her world and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law David and Cindy Ballew, Gary Ballew and Verlon and Kimberly Ballew; daughter and son-in-law Pamela and Doug Farquhar; sisters Gertrude Dennis and Lucille Bugaj; grandchildren Lisa Marshburn, Michael, David, Valerie and Janie Ballew, Lacy Rudel, Dustin Keyser, J. D. and Ethan Farquhar and Randi Hamilton and 17 great-granddchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and eleven sisters and brothers.
