James W Hurst, 62, of Navasota, passed away suddenly and unexpectantly on Thursday, June 26, 2008 in Navasota.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 29, 2008 with the family present from 12p.m. to 3p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 10a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at Nobles Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. Internment will follow in the Allen Family Cemetery in Piedmont.
Serving as pallbearers will be his co-workers: Clell Goodson, Garry Poret, Donnie Molitor, Homer Conner, Victor Ostiguin, Jr. and Dennis Sechelski.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
James was born on May 17, 1946 in Anderson. He worked for Embarq for over 39 years. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Hurst, his loving sister Doris Ann Wagner, His son Marvin Allen Hurst, and his grand-parents. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Hurst of Navasota, mother Clero Hurst of Navasota, son-and-daughter-in-law; Clint & Teri Hurst of Navasota, daughter Bonnie Hurst of Houston, & his adored grandchildren, Taylor & Halie. Brother & sister-in-law; Tommy & Molly Hurst of Navasota, Brother-in-law; Arvin Wagner of Independence, Brothers-in-law and Sisters-in-law: John & Glenda Lawrence of Brenham, Barbara Merchant of Brenham, Billy & Eva Odom of Brenham, and Connie & Guy Sears of Bryan.
