Jacob W. Langley

A celebration of life for Jacob Langley, of Huntsville, Texas, will be held on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Northside Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Falba Cemetery. The visitation will be held prior to the service at the church at 10 am. Reagan Cooksey will be officiating.

Jacob William Langley went to be with the Lord on May 1, 2021 after a tragic boating accident. Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Opal Langley, Aunt LouAnn Shipley, Aunt Roxy Langley, and cousin Deanna Tullos. Jacob is survived by parents Daniel and Lisa Langley, sister Rachel, brother Rhett and wife Brittany, brother Joshua and girlfriend Lindsie, and precious friend Kaitlyn. Nephews and nieces: Caden, Landon, Layla, Noah, Lily, and Lucas. Grandparents Lorene and Alfred Valdez, Frank Shipley, Aunt Lori and husband Phillip, Aunt Tina and husband Charlie, Uncle Dax and wife Stacie, and loving cousins and countless friends.

Jacob has been a blessing from the moment he was born, our lives were brightened by his huge smile, contagious laughter, and those piercing blue eyes of his. Jacob loved Jesus, life, the outdoors, his friends, and his family. To know Jacob was to love him. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help. Since he was young he loved to be outside, hunt, and fish. His childhood was filled with great memories surrounded by those that love him most. He graduated from Huntsville High School in 2015. He loved his trucks, to bowfish, and to make everyone laugh. He is known for his goofy jokes and his ability to make every situation better, there was never a dull moment with Jacob!

Jacob had the gift of encouragement, regardless of the situation, he made time to listen and helped so many. He was always up for a project and never backed down from a challenge. He was stubborn, driven, and incredibly smart. He had a huge heart, gave the best hugs ever and embraced each day to the fullest. Words cannot express how much he will be missed, we are blessed to have known and loved Jacob.

Pallbearers for the service will be Rhett Langley, Joshua Langley, Caden Langley, John Williams, Lane Purvis, Tator Cartwrght, Cameron Janes, and CJ Kizer.

Honary Pallbearers will be: Landon Langley, Noah Langley, Lucas AuBuchon, Brett Janes, Nelson Janes, Layne York, Joe York, Brent Sowell, Jody Vincent, Trip Doyle, and KZ Smith.
