Mr. Irving Nobles, 74, of Hempstead passed away Friday, October 19 at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center. Visitation with the family will be at Nobles Funeral Chapel Saturday, October 20 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. with the Rev. Johnny Gierisch officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Irving was born on January 29, 1938, in Navasota, the son of Irving Eugene Nobles and Alma Brewer. Irving married Evelyn Vollrath on February 28, 1957. Irving was a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and the love of his wife's life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest Nobles, Vernon Nobles, and Russell Nobles and sisters, Sally Tyler and Doris Moreland.
Mr. Nobles is survived by his wife, Evelyn Nobles of Hempstead; daughter and son-in-law, Vanessa Nobles and Charles Small of Bryan; sons and daughters-in-law, Irving Eugene and Linda Nobles of Navasota and Allen Troy Nobles and Karen Williams of Houston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Georgia Pearl and Henry Joe Roese of Washington, Effie Marie and Albert Addicks of Brenham and Ernest Moreland of Navasota; brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe Nobles of Corrigan, Thomas and Lois Nobles, Donald Ray and Jerry Nobles of Navasota, Artie Nobles, Christine Nobles and Thelma Joe Nobles; grandchildren, Stacy and husband David Vaughn of Houston, Justin Nobles of Navasota and April Nobles of Navasota and great grandchild Autumn Lynn Vaughn of Houston.
