Irene Smith Kasper

Mrs. Irene Elizabeth Smith Kasper, 97, of Navasota passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at home. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 30th from 5:00-7:00 p.m followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. The funeral service will be Friday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. John Dauroch & Rev. Neil Bockelman officiating. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Cemetery in Groves, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Irene was born on February 6, 1916, in Hinsdale, New Hampshire, the daughter of Clyde & Lena Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by sons & daughters-in-law, Donald Martin & Mary Kasper of Navasota and Jeffrey & Sandy Kasper of Hemet, CA; five grandchildren & eleven great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Danny Kasper of College Station, Greg Kasper of Denver, Danial Kirk of Pflugerville, Andrew Kasper of Austin, Jackson Kasper of Louisville, Justin Busse of Spring, Mark Ward of Hemet & Davis Kasper of College Station
