Heziabah Lavon Kuehne-Duncan, age 3, gained her angel wings Tuesday, October 22, 2019. A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, November 2nd at First Baptist Church of Navasota with Rev. Clyde Larrabee presiding. Visitation with family and friends will begin one hour prior to the service at 11:00 am.
Heziabah was born September 19, 2016 in College Station, Texas to Jade LaVon Kuehne Duncan and Cody Alan Gagne. She was a beautiful little girl who had the spirit and soul to cure any sorrows. She loved animals so much - it didn't matter how big or scary they were. She thought she could grab a bull by the neck and bring him to his knees to ride him. She fed the horses apples everyday and rocked all of the kittens to sleep, calling them babies and covering them with blankets so that they wouldn't get cold. She loved her family so much and would never leave or go to bed without her hugs and kisses and screaming "I LOVE YOU!" back and forth until she got tired. She was a daddy's girl to the fullest - how she loved to dance and sing with him! She taught him patience and how to love unconditionally. Although she seldom saw sadness or sorrow, she seemed to sense it anyway, and always wiped at your eyes and told you she was sorry, even if it wasn't her fault. Her hugs lifted the worries of the world. While there are so many words to describe this princess, at the same time, it seems that mere words are inadequate. She taught us about patience and self-sacrifice, about love, innocence and seeing the beauty in this world.
Heziabah is survived by her parents, Jade Lavon and Cody Alan Gagne; grandparents Crystal and Jason Pennington; Richard Thomas Duncan, Jr., and Teresa Kay Duncan, Medlody Diane Stoker and Ryan Lee Stoker; great-grandparents Brenda Kay Deforest-Duncan and Richard Thomas Duncan, Sr.; Uncle and Aunt Hunter Kyle Pennington and Mikaela Gagne; step brothers Jackson Lee Gagne and Kaiden Mikael Gagne; many many great aunts and uncles and soon to be brother, Cody Alan Gagne, Jr.
