Hellon Annie May Churchwell, 86, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007, at Grimes St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
She was born on March 14, 1921 in Keith, daughter of Betty Jane Bedgood and Henry Q. Carter.
Graveside services were held at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, in Carlos, with Reverend Larry Andrews officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Churchwell is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: W.L., Jr. & Carol Churchwell of Anderson, Johnny & Gail Churchwell of Temple, and Chuck & Carol Churchwell of Temple; daughters and son-in-law: Beth Ann Chaney of Anderson and Dianne & Dave Byers of Houston; seventeen grandchildren and thirty-one great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.L. Churchwell, Sr.; sister, Mammie Bunker; brother, Clifton Carter; grandson, Darin Byers, and great granddaughter, Parke Chaney.
