Harold B. Trant, 87, of Keith passed away Monday, December 31, 2007 at the College Station Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, at Nobles Funeral Chapel, with the family present from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 am at Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith with the Rev. Randy Bishop officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Harold was born on October 21, 1920 in Keith, Texas, son of Sallie (Sandel) and Robert P. Trant. He was a member of the Evergreen Freewill Baptist Church in Keith and a deacon for over 50 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 62 years: Rosalice Trant, brother: Mickey Trant and sister: Sue Reinhart.
Mr. Trant is survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Pasty and Danny Langford of Keith, Robin and Mike Johnson of Keith; sons and daughters-in-law: Bud and Janice Trant of Piedmont, Bobby and Darlene Trant of Keith; brother in law, Oliver Reinhart.
Honorary children: Kelvin (Slick) Tennell of Wellborn and Talli Svetlik of Iola; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church Building Fund, c/o Lynn Shaw Valites, 17734 FM 244, Iola, Texas 77861.
