Gregory Scott Walsh, 47, of Stoneham, Texas, the youngest son of William and Margaret Walsh left his cherished family to be with his beloved God on Thursday, May 1, 2014. Born on November 20, 1966 in Glens Falls, New York, attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic School and graduated from Morris Knolls High School, Class of 1986, in Denville, NJ.
Greg was extremely dedicated to his entire family. He had a passion for motorcycles and there was no place he would rather be than at a track with his boys and friends.
Visitation with family and friends will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a Rosary immediately after at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Greg’s life will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, May 10th at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with Rite of Committal in the Church cemetery. Father Ed Kucera will be the celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Greg is survived by his wife of 20 years, Suzanne; their sons Casey and Cordell; his father William Walsh of South Port, North Carolina; Sisters & Brothers-in-Law Mary and Bill Covert of Denville, New Jersey, Patricia and Magnus Berg of Garner, North Carolina, Linda Hogan and partner Michael of Parsippany, New Jersey and Kerry Walsh Stevenson of Raleigh, North Carolina; Brothers & Sister-in-Law Kenneth and Irene Walsh of Randolph, New Jersey and Kevin Walsh of Angier, North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Walsh and sister, Joanne Walsh.
