Mr. George Broussard, Sr., 81, of Waller passed away Tuesday, November 29 at the North Cypress Medical Center in Houston. Funeral services are set for 10am Friday, December 2 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Juan Pineda officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
George was born in Houston on May 14, 1930, the son of Joseph and Lucille (Haynes) Broussard, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Frances Broussard of Waller; sons, George Broussard, Jr. of Waller, and Roy Broussard of Orlando, FL; sisters, Carolyn Diggs and husband Digger of Colorado and Barbara Heffner of Beaumont; brothers, Michael Blayney and wife Paula of Colorado and David Blayney and wife Lonnie of Washington; and 2 grandchildren.
