Mrs. Genelle Wichman

Mrs. Joyce Genelle Wichman, 81 of Navasota, passed away at her residence Saturday, May 14th. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, May 17th from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, May 18th at 10:00am at the funeral home with the Rev. Cindy Ingall officiating. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Anderson.

Genelle was born in San Angelo, Texas on July 12, 1934 to Hallie Mason and Dema Lucille (Johnson) Stallones. She married Maurice “Mickey” Wichman in February of 1953 and together they had a daughter, Lori. They owned a dairy outside of Anderson which they operated until Mickey’s death in 1992. Genelle worked for the department of human services for almost 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Lori D. Hunter of Montgomery. She also leaves behind her beloved canine companion, Callie. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband Maurice and brother Stanley Stallones.

Serving as pallbearers are David Diaz of Montgomery, Kirk Wichman of Anderson, Hoyt Wichman, also of Anderson, Stephen Acord and Henry M. Hargrave, both of Bedias.
