Mr. Gary Lynn Baldwin, 57, of Hempstead, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2009 at home surrounded by his loving family. A memorial service will be held at 3pm Monday, April 6, at 6088 E. Hwy 105 in Navasota.
Gary was born May 12, 1951 in Dumas, TX. He was raised by Wimpy and Shorty Baldwin of Dumas. He married Mari Elizabeth Pirrung on December 27, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a talented horseman and a true cowboy, and his wit, laughter and creativity will always be remembered.
He is survived by his loving wife Mari Elizabeth; sons, Bo Dee Baldwin & wife Lecretia of Amarillo, Smokee Baldwin of Hempstead and Colter Baldwin of Brenham; step-daughters, Stephanie Sanders of Las Cruces, New Mexico and Hillary Brunner of Long Island, New York; grandchildren, Brokk, Jesse, Jhett and Sheridan. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
