Ms. Frances Whigham, 67, of Navasota, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at the Grimes St. Joseph Health Center. A graveside service will be held Monday, February 20, at 11:00 am in Wheat Cemetery in Millican with the Rev. Ronnie Lunsford officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Frances was born in Houston on November 14, 1944, to Frank & Lyla (Seward) Russell.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her son Ken Travis of Houston, daughter Kathleen Martinez of Houston, sisters and brothers-in-law Lois & Glenn Vaughn of Navasota and Geraldine & Larry Smith of Round Rock; brother Frank Keach Russell, Jr. of Houston; 8 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lois Vaughn for the purchase of picnic tables in Ms. Vaughn's memory at the Navasota Nursing & Rehab. The family invites you to leave fond memories and kind words at www.noblesfuneral.com .
