Mr. Floyd Finke, 69, of Navasota passed away March 28, 2013 at his residence. A visitation will be held Monday, April 1st from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2nd at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery with the Pastor Randy Weaver and Pastor Brian Domingues officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Floyd was born on May 9, 1943, in Brenham, Texas the son of Louis and Elma (Dannhause) Finke. Floyd married Shirley A. Wehrman on April 30, 1966, in Navasota, Texas.

Floyd Finke was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Delores Wiesepape.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shirley Finke of Navasota; son and daughter-in- law, Mark and Lupe Finke of Navasota; two grandchildren, Courtney and Weston Finke; sisters, Oranell Storres, Laverne Kelly, and Shirley Finke of Brenham; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold (Cotton) and Jeanie Finke of Brenham, Weldon and Sherri Finke of Brenham, and Elroy and Linda Finke of Corinth, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers are Eddie Bosse of Navasota, Kevin Bosse of Brenham, Neal Bosse of Navasota, Skeeter Stolz of Navasota, Sonny Sampson of Navasota, and Craig Wiesepape of Brenham. Honorary pallbearers include Dr. John C. Webb, Marvin Struckmeyer, Leonard "Shimm" Dickschat, and Archie Sechelski all of Navasota.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lone Star Cowboy Church, 21627 Eva St., Montgomery, TX 77356.
