Born on January 15, 1930 to Collie and Annie Arrington in Cedar Bayou, Texas, Florence lived a long and fulfilling life. She was a wife, mother, daughter, sister and AUNT SIS to all her family and a talented artist and teacher to all of her colleagues and students. A gifted seamstress,
avid reader, green thumb, and world traveler, there was nothing that she didn’t excel at from African Violets and Competition Dancing to traveling the world from Alaska to Australia. Always impeccable, she loved her family, hot black coffee, nature, and Jesus. Everyone loved her. She will be missed.
Preceded in passing by her husband of 68 years, Dick, Dog Casey, and innumerable other animals, she leaves behind her Sister-Evelyn, children-Jay and Janne, their families, and a trail of grieving friends.
