Felix Ramirez, Sr., 64, of Lufkin passed away Thursday, December 27, 2007 in Lufkin.
Visitation will be held Sunday, December 30 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the family present from 3:00 - 6:00 pm. Funeral services are set for Monday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with interment following in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Felix was born on December 19, 1943 in Bryan, Texas, son of Inez (Ruiz) and Felix Ramirez, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ray Ramirez; and brother, Paul Ramirez.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Ramirez of Lufkin; daughters and sons-in-law, Toni & Jimmy Tobias of Humble, Priscilla & Pepper Sterner of Cy Fair, and Felicia Ramirez of Minneapolis, MN; sons, Felix Ramirez, Jr. of Navasota and Julio Ramirez of Lufkin; step-children, Virgie Pichardo and her husband George of Livingston, Lori Ann Flores and her husband Manuel of Lufkin, Richard Compean and his wife Juanita of Diboll, and Sammy Compean and his wife Thelma of Lufkin; sister and brother-in-law, Margaret & Alfonso Compean of Diboll; brother and sister-in-law, John & Vonnie Silva of Navasota; 28 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
