Mrs. Erna Feldmann Nobles, 83, of Navasota, passed away Friday, November 26, 2010. A visitation will be held from 6-7pm Sunday, with a prayer service at 7pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 2pm Monday, November 29 at the Trinity Lutheran Church of Navasota with the Rev. Donald Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Nobles was born on September 26, 1927 in Whitehall to Fritz & Ida (Bushmann) Feldmann. She married Bill William Nobles in Navasota on December 21, 1946. Erna delighted in being "Nanaw" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to sew, cook great Sunday dinners and playing games, especially Dominoes.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Douglas Wayne Nobles; brother & sister-in-law, Willie & Katie Feldmann.
Survivors include her husband, Billy of Navasota; daughters & sons-in-law, Billie Jean Nagy of Navasota, Kathy & Steve Terrell of College Station, Rita & John Baty of Buffalo, and Wanda & Robert White of Franklin; son & daughter-in-law, Sam & Sandy Nobles of Anderson; sisters-in-law & brother-in-law, Ardie Mae Nobles of Washington, and Ida Mae & Bill Kaspar of Bryan; brother & sister-in-law, Adolph & Paula Feldman of Navasota; 21 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Troy Nagy of San Antonio, Roy Nagy of Boerne, Allan Garrett of Marble Falls, Michael Baty of Buffalo, Jamie Kitkoski of Carlos and Russell White of Bremond.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Building Fund.
