Emma Marburger

January 23, 1945 — September 30, 2011

Mrs. Emma Ruth Marburger, 66, of Brenham passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Sheridan of Navasota. The family will receive visitors from 1-3pm Sunday, October 2 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clyde Larrabee officiating. Interment will follow in the Willowhole Cemetery in North Zulch.
Emma was born in Navasota on January 23, 1945, the daughter of Howard & Thelma (Post) Rucker. She will be most remembered for her affection of playing the piano and the love she had for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Leroy Marburger.
Mrs. Marburger is survived by her brothers, Wayne Rucker of Navasota and George Rucker and his wife Lois of Houston; nieces, Lisa McKown of College Station and Lori Rucker Clayton of Keith; and nephew Jason Rucker of Cypress.
Serving as pallbearers are Clyde Larrabee, Skip Nobles, Jason Rucker, Logan McKown, Justin McKown, and J.E. Clayton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Navasota.
