Emily Nicole Wood, 12, of Navasota passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Texas Children's Hospital. Visitation will be Friday, February 15th from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Emily was born on June 25, 2000, in College Station, Texas, the daughter of Walter Thomas and Anne Marie (Gutierrez) Wood.
She is preceded in death by great grandmothers, Martha Gutierrez and Thena Lenore Guest and aunt, Lauren Gutierrez.
She is survived by parents Walter and Anne Marie Wood of Navasota; sister, Laura Rebecca Wood of Navasota and brother, Ethan Matthew Wood of Navasota.
