Mrs Elia De La Rosa Guitron

Elia De La Rosa Guitron, 86, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2014 at her residence.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a prayer service following at 7:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Christ Our Light Catholic Church in Navasota at 10:00am. Rev. Juan Pineda will be the celebrant. Rite of Committal will be in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Guitron was born February 2, 1928 in Rio Grande, Texas to Guadalupe de la Rosa and Maria Guardiola. She married Victor Guitron in August of 1953. After his passing in 1968, she raised their 10 children alone. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Lucy and Clemente Espinoza of Navasota, Ninfa Sanchez and Ruben Garza of Navasota, Dalia and Guadalupe Moreno, Jr., of College Station, Ramona and Arnoldo Arreola of Navasota, Deloris and Juan Garcia of Encouch, Irene and Ludgerioi Enchautequi of Bradenton, Florida, and Evangelina and Eloy Segura of Weslaco; sons and daughters-in-law Armando Guitron and Margarita Garza of Elsa, Ricky and Angelina Guitron of Navasota and Mary Guitron of Navasota; sisters Juana Valdez of San Benito, Juanita Vega of Edinburg and Alfonsa Garcia of Elsa; 33 grandchildren and 65 great-grandchildren as wells as close friends Primitivo and Oralio Zamorano of Navasota.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Victor Guitron, son Victor Guitron, Jr., brothers Juan, Martin, Alfredo, Jose, and Pedro de la Rosa; sisters Carolata Garcia, Isidra Villarreal, Maria Luiza de la Rosa and Andrea Sarabia.
Serving as pallbearers are Adrian Moreno of College Station, Orlando Arreola of Grapevine, Andres Enchautequi of Ft. Meyer, Florida, Robert Morales of Bryan, Michelle Hernandez of Navasota, Isreal Guitrol of Navasota, Tony Garcia of Elsa, Veronica Guitron of Navasota and Cesar Sanchez of Navasota.
