Doris Ginglewood, 81, of Navasota died at The Med in College Station, Sunday, December 15, 2013. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 17th from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at 10:00am at Nobles Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota with the Rev. Buddy Hogue officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Doris was born in Iola on June 18, 1932, the daughter of James McCleney and Willie Ann Smith McCleney.
Mrs. Ginglewood is survived by her daughters, Pamela White and her husband Larry of Navasota and Paula Ticknor of Huntsville; a sister-in-law, Christene McCleney of Angelton, as well as six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ginglewood, her parents, three brothers, Thomas, Alvin and Lester, and two sisters, Francis Murchison and Jewel Garrett.
Serving as pallbearers are Daniel White of Abilene, Michael White of College Station, Brandon Hurley of Riverside, Jerod Griffin of Willis, Brandon Pegoda and David Wells, both of Huntsville.
