Dora Flores, 63, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2011. Visitation will be held from 5pm-7pm with a rosary beginning at 7pm Tuesday, May 17 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, May 18 at Christ our Light Catholic Church with rite of committal in Oakland Cemetery in Navaosta.
Dora was born on August 13, 1947 in Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of Adan and Natividad (Dominguez) Flores.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Adan Flores, Jr., Pedro Flores, Sr., and Oralio Flores, Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Mario Lopez of Navasota; daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha and Edmundo Vazquez, Leslie and Stephen Bonnain and Lucy and Elijah Munoz, all of Navasota; sons and daughters-in-law, Gilbert and Veronica Castillo, Eugene and Esperanza Castillo, Juan and Shannon Castillo, and Abel and Ramona Castillo, all of Navasota; sisters and brothers-in-law, Josie and Frank Miles of Salem, Oregon, Mary Loera, and Isabel and Isreal Santoy, all of Navasota; brother, Richard Flores of Navasota; 25 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Gilbert Castillo, Eugene Castillo, Juan Castillo, Able Castillo, Elijah Munoz and Stephen Bonnain, all of Navasota.
