Mr. Donald Flanagan, 66, of Plantersville passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at his home. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 29th at 11:30am at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Deacon Ted Baker officiating. Cremation will follow. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Donald was born in Vicksburg, MS, on March 31, 1946 to Herman and Alene (Brown) Flanagan.
Mr. Flanagan was preceded in death by his mother, Alene Barksdale, and brother, L.A. Flanagan.
He is survived by his long time companion, Wanda Imhoff of Plantersville; step-father, Lester Barksdale of Kerville; daughter, Donna Soria of New Waverly; son, Lee Flanagan of Magnolia; sister, Mary Flanagan of Pinehurst; brothers, Herman Flanagan of Waller and Ronald Flanagan of Hearne; numerous step-children; 3 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
