Della Abke

Della Mae Abke, 69, of Navasota passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her residence. The family will receive visitors from 5-8pm Monday, March 7 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Tuesday at Salem Lutheran Church in White Hall with the Rev. Chris Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
Della was born in Liberty on April 19, 1941, the daughter of Milo and Elsie (Green) Griffith, Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Gilbert Abke.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Abke McMahon and husband George of Navasota; sons, Keith Abke and wife Lisa, and Leslie Abke and wife Debbie, all of Navasota; sister, Merle Morris and husband Frank of Dayton; brothers, Melvin Griffith and wife Barbara of Liberty, Larry Griffith of Navasota, and Milo Griffith, Jr. and wife Elaine of Dayton; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Lloyd Finke, Chris Finke, Shawn Havard, Carl Spellman, Rusty Bailey and Tim Harris. Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Finke, Dale Roe, Tim Horton, Rob Bailey and Harvey Abke.
