Clynton P. McAdoo, 88, of Navasota passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at The College Station Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wayne Schumpe officiating. Graveside services will be Thursday December 20, 2007 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston at 12 noon. Visitation will be from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm Wednesday at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. McAdoo was born June 7, 1919 in Boston, Arkansas, the son of George Lewis and Lottie (Johnson) McAdoo. Clynton was one of 14 children and one of three sets of twins.
Clynton married Georgia R. McAdoo on June 19, 1971. Mr. McAdoo was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Georgia McAdoo; daughter and son-in-law: Rosalie and Jimmie Hensley of Navasota; sons and daughters-in-law: Tommy and Marry Marek of Navasota, George and Judy McAdoo of Houston, and Fred McAdoo of Nacogdoches; sister: Oris Lee Baker of St. Louis, Missouri; 10 Grandchildren and 6 Great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were: Jason Rogers of Sugarland, Troy Brewer of Palestine, Michael McAdoo of Tomball, Jimmie Hensley of Navasota, T.J. Marek of Brenham, and Henry Kustschick of LaGrange.
