Clifton McIntush,
March 13, 1934 — January 8, 2010
Dr. Clifton Eugene (Gene) McIntush, Sr., 75, of Richards, passed away Friday, January 8, 2010 at Tomball Regional Hospital. Visitation will be Sunday, January 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Monday, January 11, at Bays Chapel Methodist Church with Elders Dan Newman, Jeff Moseley, & James Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Bays Chapel Cemetery.
Clifton was born March 13, 1934 in Collingsworth County to Theodore and LaVerne (Guthrie) McIntush. He married Ruth Eudell Gotcher, his wife of 47 years, on June 1, 1962 in Arlington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth Edwin McIntush.
He is survived by his wife; sons & daughters-in-law, Clifton Eugene McIntosh, Jr. & Kathleen Mortell of Chicago, IL, Kenneth Edwin & Shannon McIntush II of New Braunfels, Eric Wynne & Karen McIntush of Richards; daughters & son-in-law, Ruth Renae & Rich Traylor of Abilene, and Holly Gene McIntush of Austin; sister, Aloha Jane Middleton & husband Ronnie of North Richland Hills; and grandchildren, Sheila McIntosh, Martin McIntosh, Dorothy McIntush, Gloria McIntush, Elizabeth McIntush, Erica McIntush, Mallory Traylor and Madison Traylor.
