Mrs. Clara Julia Jarvis, 92, of Iola passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at her home in Iola.
She was born on September 10, 1914, daughter of Emma and Frederick Henry Schafstall.
Graveside services were at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Martins Prairie Cemetery with Reverend Dan Schoessow officiating. Visitation was held on Friday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Serving as pallbearers were Danny Jarvis of Bryan, Don and Chris Jarvis both of Navasota, Lawrence Jarvis of Iola, Kenneth and Blake Jarvis both of Anderson.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Jarvis is survived by her brother-in-law, Wilson Jarvis of Iola; sisters-in-law, Lena and Audrey Jarvis of Iola, and Vada Jarvis of Carlos.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Monroe Jarvis; parents, Frederick Henry and Emma Schafstall; and brother, George Schafstall.
