Mrs. Christine Shimshack Pasket, 79, of Anderson died Friday, April 6, 2007, at her residence.
She was born on November 15, 1927, in Anderson, daughter of Mark and Margaret Shimshack.
Mrs. Pasket was a retired nurse's aid and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Visitation was held at Nobles Funeral Chapel from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary conducted at 7:00 on Monday, April 9.
A funeral mass was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 10 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson with Father Louis Sikorski officiating. Rites of committal followed in the church cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Pasket is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Sandra Pasket and Leon and Evelyn Pasket, all of Anderson; sister, Cecile Lindley of Oklahoma; brother and sisters-in-law, Joe and Audrey Shimshack of New Orleans, Louisiana, Doris Shimshack of College Station, and Lillian Shimshack of Navasota; three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Pasket; brothers, Stash, Jessie, Harold, and Sylvester Shimshack; and sisters, Ruth Lee and Agnes Snook.
Serving as pallbearers were Danny Pasket and Anthony Pasket of Anderson; Allan Shimshack and Daryll Shimshack of College Station; and Jimmy Shimshack and Richard Shimshack of Navasota.
