Christine Nobles, 84, of Navasota went home to be in Gods arms on Tuesday, March 22nd. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 10:00am – 12:00pm, Friday, March 25th at Nobles Funeral Chapel, followed by a graveside service held at 12:30pm at Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Henry Sanders will officiate. Arrangements are under the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Beloved wife of Vernon Nobles, Sr. who preceded her in death on February 12, 2009, she was the mother of eight children, including two sets of twins; LaVerne Klawinsky of Stoneham; Vernon Nobles, Jr., and wife Blanca of College Station, Sandra Dobson and husband Todd of Coldspring, Leonard Eugene Nobles Sr. of Washington, Ronald Nobles of Decatur, Karen Rivera and husband David of Navasota, Kathy Martinez and husband Juan, Sr. of Navasota and Peggy Nobles of Navasota. She also leaves sisters Katherine Rod of The Woodlands, Helen Carlock of Spring and Florence Lara and husband Martin of Anderson; 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren to cherish her memory.
Christine was born October 23, 1931 in Richards, Texas to Lee and Rosalie (Sicinski) Kroll. She attended and graduated from Richards High School and married her one true love, Vernon Nobles. They were united as one on February 27, 1954. Their union was a celebration of love and laughter that would span 55 years.
Mom (MaMa) was an avid gardener, raising vegetables and beautiful flowers. She loved to spend time fishing, quilting, sewing and baking. Holidays when the entire family got together were a particular joy for her, watching and smiling at her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are grandsons Lanny Klawinsky, Brian Rivera, Juan Martinez, Jr., Jeff Rangel, Christopher Nobles and Leonard Nobles, Jr. Honorary pallbearers include grandchildren Cody Nobles, Michael Nobles, Jason Dodson, Glenn Nobles, Matthew Nobles, Stephanie Klawinsky, Christina Tejeda, Rebeca Rivera, Kassie Martinez, Ashley Tinsley-Rangel and Melissa Rangel .
