Chester Tomczak, 79, of Washington, passed away Friday, November 6th in Houston Northwest Medical Center. A parish rosary, followed by a Memorial Mass celebrating his life will be held at 10:00am Saturday November 21st at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Rev. Bill Kelly will serve as the celebrant. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Chester was born on March 23, 1936 in Hempstead, Texas to Joe and Stella (Kaspryzak) Tomczak. He married Angelean Ann Kapchinski on July 18, 1959 in Houston and together they raised three daughters. He supported his family as a pipe welder in the industrial field in Wharton. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting , fishing and tending his cattle. After retirement, he also enjoyed joining his wife at flea markets and craft shows.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Angelean; daughters and son-in-law Darlene and Joe Shaw of Gause; Sybrina Walls of Washington and Tina Tomczak, also of Washington; grandchildren Aline Laskoskie, Ashley Kopech, Tiffany Walls, Candace Kopech and Justin Walls; great grandchildren Ryley Tappe, Hailey Laskoskie and Abigail Laskoskie.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother T. J. Tomczak and sister Julia Bronikowski.
