Mr. Charles Lloyd Mullenix, 64, of Roans Prairie, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 15 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel and a graveside service is set for 2:00 pm Thursday, April 16 at Oakland Cemetery with Rev. Floyd Hoke officiating.
Mr. Mullenix was born August 15, 1944 in Houston, to Jack and Dessie (Ottis) Byars. He married Nena Ashworth on October 20, 1969 in Houston.
He is survived by his wife, daughters and sons-in-law, Nena and Dennis Surface and Sally and Dennis Willis of Roans Prairie; sister, Evelyn Lawson of Anderson; brother, Donnald Wayne Mullenix of Tomball; and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
