Charles Jones

Charles Kenneth "Dick" Jones, 80, of Anderson passed away Wednesday, January 19 at the Grimes St. Joseph Health Center in Navasota. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Friday, and funeral services are set for 10am Saturday, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Anderson.
Dick was born on July 16, 1930 in Corsicana to William & Dave Helen (Gilstrap) Jones. He loved fishing and telling great tales of his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Charles Kenneth Jones, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Estelle Jones of Magnolia; daughter, Linda Louise Jones of Liberty; son, Joe David Jones of Buna; brother, Billy Gene Jones of Richmond, VA; sister, Peggy Sue Bolton & husband John of Danbury; 5 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous step-children, step-grandchildren & step-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Frankie Hieden of Tomball; Robert Lane Campbell of Big Springs; Carlos Bolton and Roger Blackwell, both of Danbury; Jeff Bolton of Angleton; and Bob Glameyer of Anderson.
