Brett Allen Haferkamp., 24, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel on Sunday, May 27. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m Sunday at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Henry Sanders officiating.
Mr. Haferkamp was born August 31, 1982 in Brenham, Texas, son of Linda Duggan-Roberson and Robert Haferkamp.
Mr. Haferkamp loved flying, riding horses, working on cars and motorcycles. He attended Brenham High School from 1996 to 1999 and was in their ROTC program. He graduated from Navasota High School in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Otto Lee Haferkamp, Marie Rosenfelder, great grandparents Mr. & Mrs. W.F. Strawn, Henry and Beulah Haferkamp, uncles Gregorio Joe Lara, Dale Haferkamp, and cousin Tonia Marie Brunette.
Mr. Haferkamp is survived by his parents Linda Duggan-Roberson of Austin, father Robert Haferkamp of Navasota, brothers Michael Todd Whitaker of Dallas, Stephen Gurka, III of Bryan, grandparents Kenneth Duggan of Navasota, Paul and Barbara Britton of Navasota, Art Rosenfelder of Hempstead, aunts and uncles Diane Lara of Navasota, Rose Brunette of Brenham, Lee and Eddie Osborne of Everman, George Osborne of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mary Sanchez of Navasota, Kenny and Gail Duggan of San Antonio, Donna and Greg Patchell of Elizabethtown, Colorado, and David Haferkamp of Amarillo, and special friend Raina.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael Whitaker, Stephen Gurka, III, T.J. Lara, Patrick Lara, Corey Brunette, Casey Brunette, Kenny Duggan, and Greg Patchell.
