Boyce Cummins

Mr. Boyce Cummins, 77, of Navasota, passed away Thursday, August 6, 2009 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be Sunday, August 9 with the family present from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Graveside services are set for 10:00am Monday at Stoneham Cemetery with a memorial service at 10:30am at New Hope Church of Navasota with Rev. Dr. Max Brand officiating.
Boyce was born February 28, 1932 in Navasota to George Washington Cummins and Sallie (Mixon) Cummins. He married Daisy Evoleena on November 12, 1994 in Harris County.
Boyce was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Sally Cummins; sisters, Adaline and Dorothy; brothers, George, Leslie, Lester "Shorty", Carl, Donald, Vernon, Maurice and Aubrey; and son-in-law, Owen Payne.
He is survived by his wife Daisy; daughters and sons-in-law, Grace and Richard Palculict of El Dorado, AR, Elizabeth Payne of Pearland, Tracy and Cecil Baker of College Station; brothers and sisters-in-law, L.G. and Bertha Cummins of Utah, Boyd Cummins of Navasota, Russell and Mary Cummins of Smiley, Wayland and Bobbie Cummins of Navasota; and 10 grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Nathan Palculict and Clayton Baker of College Station, Christopher Palculict of El Dorado, AR, Jimmy Crittenden of Florine, LA, Sam Payne of Pearland and Josh Schulte of Navasota.
