Mrs. Betty Jean Conner Eichelberger

July 9, 1948 — December 17, 2015

Betty Jean (Conner) Eichelberger, 67, of Washington passed away at her home Thursday, December 17th. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm, Tuesday, December 22nd at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of her life will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, December 23rd, also at the funeral chapel. Interment in Oakland Cemetery will follow the service. Rev. Greg Felder will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Betty was born on July 9, 1948 in Washington County to Otice and Minnie (Hoefelmeyer) Conner, Sr. She owned and operated a convenience store in Old Washington for many years.
She is survived by her husband, John F. Eichelberger of Cleveland; a son, Jason Conner of Bryan; stepchildren John Mark, Matt and Sissy Eichelberger, all of Cleveland; sister Hattie Fay Gross of Brenham; brother Sammy Conner of Washington; and nieces and nephews Samantha Stewart, Linda Stolz and Kenton Lee Gross.
Preceding her in death were her parents and niece Barbara.
Serving as pallbearers are Cleve Stewart of Bedias, Jim Stolz and Matt Eichelberger, all of Washington, Jason Conner of Bryan and Brandon Gross of Brenham.
