Mrs. Bessie L. Harville, 84 of Navasota, passed away Thursday, April 19th at CHI St. Joseph Regional Hospital. Visitation with family and friends will be Sunday, April 22nd from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 23rd at 10:00 AM in the Fairview Cemetery in White Hall with the Rev. John High officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Harville was born March 11, 1934 in Navasota, Texas to Floyd and Effie (Brewer) Nobles. She married Bobby Harville on April 21, 1951 and together they had three children. Bessie retired from Navasota ISD after 25 years of service as a cafeteria cook and manager. She enjoyed every minute spent cooking for the students, many of which still remember her as the “cafeteria lady”.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Sherry and J. W. Charles; son and daughter-in-law Wayland and Polly Harville; sister-in-law Betty Nobles; grandchildren Angie Singleton, Wendy Cox, Crystal Hassle, Asley Urso and Jessica Clement; great-grandchildren Kayla Moritz, Marissa Olivariz, Shyann Charles, Hunter Charles, Shelcie Toscano, Brittany Toscano, Kyle Holiday, Austin Hassell, and Addison Hassell and five great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Harville was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bobby Harville, daughter Brenda Clement, grandson Wesley Charles, grandson Michael Waylon and great-grandson Jay Michael.
