Aubrey Jones

Mrs. Aubrey G. Jones, 83, of Navasota, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at her residence. Visitation will be Friday, January 15, from 5-7pm, and funeral services are set for 10am, Saturday, January 16, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Hal Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in Pankey Cemetery in Bedias.
Mrs. Jones was born August 18, 1926 in Grimes County to Fred and Lola Mae (Young) Glass. She found true happiness tending to her garden and flowers. She also loved her family and had a passion for watching televised wrestling.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Virgil Jones; daughter, Mary Louise Louvier; sons, Jimmie & Bill Maddox; brothers, Henry, Samuel & Jesse Glass; sisters, Inez Fox & Zelva Holloway.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Betty George of Georgia, Geraldine Chappell & husband Dwayne of Iola, Audrey Maddox of Navasota; sons, Bob Maddox & wife JoAnne of Hearne, and Herbert Maddox & wife Sarah of Brockton, NY; son-in-law, Steve Louvier of Houston; 12 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Nichols and Bobby Nichols of Navasota, Morris Nichols, Steve Olsen and Larry Reed, all of Singleton, and Steve Schwarzbach of Iola.
