Aubrey Dennis

Mr. Aubrey Zane "Skeezix" Dennis, 81, of Plantersville died Wednesday, April 4, 2007, at his residence.
He was born on March 14, 1926, in Dacus, son of Robert Rice Dennis and Mary Aubrey Phillips Dennis.
Mr. Dennis was a rancher and served in the United States Navy.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Pastor Pam Caplinger of Plantersville Country Church officiating. Interment followed in Plantersville Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Mr. Dennis is survived by his wife, Gertrude Margaret Dennis of Plantersville; daughters and sons-in-law, Evangela and Randy Morris of Plantersville, Felicia and Roman Williams of Stoneham, Aubrey and Gary Gates of Dobbin, Charlotte and Phil Romine of Port O'Connor, and Becky and Charlie Ivy of Dobbin; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy Allen and Kelly Dennis of Plantersville, Andy and Marie Anderson-Dennis of Houston, and Randy and Sue Dennis of Evergreen, Colorado; sister, Doris O. Real of Bridge City; brother, Robert Boyd Shead of California; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Serving as pallbearers were Timothy Dennis, Kelly Dennis, Randy Morris, and Evangela Morris of Plantersville and Roman Williams and Felicia Williams of Stoneham.
