Arnold Kolbachinski

Arnold Ray Kolbachinski, 79, of Carlos passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at his residence. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Friday at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Saturday, also at the chapel with the Rev. John M. High officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Arnold was born in Carlos on October 10, 1931, the son of Tony and Winnie (Barnhill) Kolbachinski.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Shirley Y'Barbo and husband Nelson, and Florence Schively; and brother-in-law, Roger Q. Williams.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sara Kay and David Lauter of Carlos; son, Ray Kolbachinski of Navasota; sister, Marie Williams of Lindale; grandchildren, Kortenay Thompson and husband Jeff of Plantersville, David Lauter, Jr. of Carlos, Kaston and Dean Kusler of Denton, Molly Kolbachinski of Plantersville, and Josh Kolbachinski and Lea French of Navasota; great-grandchildren, Zane Michael Thompson and Holly Ann Kolby of Plantersville; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Serving as pallbearers are David R. Lauter, Jr. of College Station, Josh Ray Kolbachinski of Navasota, Jeff Padraza of Anderson, Dean Kusler of Denton, and Gill Y'Barbo and Charles Fuller, both of Livingston. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Kolbachinski, Jr., William "Willie" Bushman, John Sowell, Billy Raymond Kolbachinski, Chris Williams, Ronnie Becker, Jimmie Walker and Zane Michael Thompson.
