Mr. Arnold S. Hallmark, 85, of Navasota, passed away Monday, April 13th at Golden Creek Health and Rehab Center. The family will receive callers from 5:00 – 8:00pm, Thursday, April 16th at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel
Mr. Hallmark was born on February 20, 1930 in Lorraine, Texas to Ashbury Smith Hallmark and Gertrude Lawrence Hallmark. In 1947, he joined the U. S. Air Force and served our country in Germany. Upon discharge, he married and started a family. He provided for his family by driving a truck for the oilfield industry, a passion that consumed him until his retirement. Mr. Hallmark loved a good game of cards, bingo or dominoes with friends and family. He was a die-hard Texas A&M sports fanatic.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Tom Bradley of Plantersville, Joyce Anderson of Plantersville and Kathy and Bob of Oklahoma; sons and daughter-in-law Willard Hale, Jr., of Deer Park, Keaford and Carol Hale of Pasadena and Mike Hallmark of Oklahoma; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hallmark was preceded in death by his parents; sons Eugene and John Hale; grandchildren Gina, Kenneth, Kevin, Robbie; six brothers and three sisters.
